HTC plans to focus on mid-range smartphones. Sold 1M HTC Magic devices
DIGITIMES reports that according to HTC CEO Peter Chou, the company expect to have mid-range smartphones shipments to represent 50-60% of their total handset shipments in the second half of 2009.
They indicated that HTC will focus on the development of smartphones that will carry a price tag of around US$300.
In addition, Chou also revealed that sales of the Android-powered smartphone HTC Magic, have passed the one million units milestone since the device was launched in late April 2009.
